Layout for Viking 140T Engine Mount


Keep in mind that there is a million different AN bolt lengths:). Every 1/16”

You can adjust the length by adding washers in order to not bottom the nut against the end of the threads.

Here you can clearly see how short the threads are and that only 2-3 threads should show, or it has bottomed out.


Specifically for Savannah Aircraft Mounting

Top Mount

The ICP predrills the Top Mount holes at the factory which forces/determines the position of the middle and bottom mounting holes. The welding on this inside mounting plate has substantial welding which requires a little grinding to get the Viking locknut to sit flush at final assembly.

Bottom Mount

Qty 2 4130 Straps 1/8” x 1.5” x cut 5” long then bent at 2” then trimmed to fit flush against firewall.

Qty 8 AN3-5A washers and nylon locknut
